No Justice hails from a rather small place on the map, Stillwater, OK, known for spawning large talent like Jimmy LaFave, Garth Brooks and Jason Boland & The Stragglers. Country-rock tones weave in and out of the band's solid self-titled release, thanks in part to recent recruit Brandon Jackson on vocals guitar, Joey Trevino on vocals/bass and Jerry Payne on guitar. Tunes like ''Never Come Back'' and ''Bend But Don't Break'' lead with the Southern drummer/percussionist, Armando Lopez. Lopez shines on ''Don't Walk Away'' providing smooth groovy touches in all the right places, and on ''Breathe,'' a melodically addicting ballad alive with pop essence and a funk pulse. Steve Rice tops it all off with acoustic overlays and a vocal concoction brewed from a little grit and a lot of soul. In September of 2007 No Justice released their first live album, "Live at Billy Bob's" CD/DVD, joining a prestigious list of legendary artists in the "Live at Billy Bob's" series.
Before transistors and vocal tuners, music was solely a musician’s
medium. Success depended upon the ability of talented individuals
to appeal to fans directly - be it on a concert stage or through
largely unfettered recordings and radio broadcasts. McHayes is
grounded in that increasingly bygone sensibility and is a bold yet
never brash statement from two young men with enough musical
experience to know what’s truly important.
Miranda has been singing most of her life, but began pursuing music as a
career in April of 2000 when she enter the Tru-Value Talent
Search and placed as a finalist. It was then that she decided
the stage was the place for her. In spring of 2001 Miranda was
named as first runner-up for the young Tammy Wynette for the
Ryman Auditorium's Broadway musical "Stand By Your Man -
The Tammy Wynette Story." She released her first album
"Miranda Lambert", in September 2001; her first single
debuted on Texas Music Charts for three month. Miranda qualified
as a finalist for USA Network's Nashville Star series and
maintained her position throughout the series, finishing in the
top 3 of 8000.
