you should get ready to laugh and be amazed like never before.
Amore has been performing hypnosis
shows since 1987. He earned a doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy,
and starred in the top selling videotape The
Secrets of Stage Hypnosis Revealed as well as performed thousands
of shows.
Show Content Length – 60 minutes
Introduction: This part of the
show gets the entire audience involved. Each audience member will
experience relaxation and the power of suggestion. Fun
suggestibility exercises will give each person the knowledge as to what
hypnosis is and whether they would be a good volunteer. Once the
audience is comfortable with the knowledge they have been given they are
given the opportunity to volunteer for the show. Twenty or more
volunteers will be quickly evaluated to see if they have what it takes
to be part of the show. Ineligible volunteers will return to the
audience to watch the show. The others stay to have fun!
Body: Once
hypnotized each volunteer is in a natural state of conscious relaxation, aware
of everything around them, able to return to the audience anytime they choose.
Volunteers have total control over everything they do and at no time are they
unaware of what is happening. The hypnotic state is a natural state of
mind and body. It is similar to daydreaming where your mind has complete
focus and no distraction. This focus combined with comic suggestions
allows each volunteer to tap into their inner talents. The body of the
show is made up of fun suggestions. These suggestions are always age and
event appropriate and will not ask people to do anything physically
challenging (no stupid stunts) or compromise anyone’s values or morals. Here
are just some of the fun suggestions used: surfers in Hawaii, worlds greatest
conductors, moon talk, elbow inspector, ballet dancers, laughing, opera star,
winners of one million dollars, cowboys riding horses, stuck to seats, forget
a number, the winning touchdown and the list goes on… Suggestions are
given both individually and to volunteers as a group.
End: The show
ends with everyone taking action on many different suggestions at the same
time. This very funny ending has the volunteers reacting to words, props
and music. After the finale, each volunteer is removed from their state
of hypnosis and receives tremendous applause. The volunteers will awaken
feeling refreshed, to remember everything that has happened during the show. Of
course each of the comic suggestions that were given will no longer affect
them. Volunteers always come out of the hypnotic state and remember everything
that has happened to them and around them.
