Debi Lewin

Born and raised in the rock and roll city of Cleveland, Ohio, Debi Lewin comes to Mars Talent with many years of experience in Show Business as a professional singer, entertainer, dancer, band manager and producer. From the stages of Las Vegas to the many cabaret’s and nightclubs across the country, Debi has what it takes to understand what goes on “on the stage” as well as off.

Debi started her musical career in 1980, in musical theater. Starring in such productions as Evita, playing the notorious Eva Peron, Cassie in A Chorus Line and also producing and performing in many Broadway reviews and One Woman Shows. From audiences of 10 to 10,000 there isn’t a venue that Debi Lewin has not had the pleasure of performing in.

Debi’s knowledge of music comes from a history of three generations of musicians. From Classical to rock and roll her family history is a story to someday be told. Moving from genre to genre and singing in four languages, gives her many years of understanding that all forms of music are wonderful. Performing in Las Vegas with Wayne Newton at the Sand’s Hotel and performing with Mr. Newton on the Jerry Lewis Telethon has been one of the many highlights of her career but that was just the beginning of the Las Vegas adventure that began in 1994, and she has continued to perform in Vegas at Caesar’s Palace, The Aladdin, Sahara, Stratosphere and The Riviera Hotel.

From co-hosting a radio show in Cleveland on 1300 WERE and managing and performing in “The Cover Girls” voted No. 1 band in Cleveland, Debi has also had the pleasure of performing with or doing background vocals for Andy Kim, Ron Dante, The Scintas, Eric Carmen, Mitch Ryder, Chris Montez, Felix Cavaliere, Maxine Nightingale, Southside Johnny and the beat goes on. Debi Lewin’s CD “A Woman of Standards” is also being aired on radio station 91.5 in Cleveland.

In 2000, Debi had the wonderful experience of producing a few shows for Sonny Geraci of “The Outsiders” and so enjoyed being behind the stage, instead of just performing on it, enticed her to look for the opportunity to do this booking and producing career full time. Debi had the pleasure of meeting Wendy Kay, President of Mars Talent in the late 90’s and mentioned her interest in being on board with this great agency and - well - dreams come true!

Now Debi Lewin is working with Mars Talent in the Corporate Division. Debi will be booking acts for Corporate and Charity events as well as the new Girl Group division, which she has designed, choreographed and produced, the Girl Groups are Disco Divas, Chic Rock and Camp Country, so be sure to check out these acts on the site.

To date Debi has no intention of giving up her spot on the stage but looks forward to playing both roles of performer and booking agent. Debi is still performing in Cleveland and across the country with one of the best Pink Floyd tribute bands called “Wish You Were Here” as well as doing her cabaret act and background vocals for different artists.
